David was born in Birmingham, raised in Jamaica and has been living in London for a while now. Everybody who has been listening to drum & bass for a while will be able to sing along to these lines: “If you’re a bad boy, you’ll end up on the run, if you’re a rude boy…” We had a conversation about what has been going on in David Boomah’s life in the past twenty years. Smoove is a dj and producer from Newcastle and one half of Smoove & Turrell. He dislikes being called “Smooth”, owns two cats and knows how to cook a decent curry. His massive record collection is one big mess with no discernible order apart from every 70th record seeming to be Michael Jackson 12″.
